Disney Live!

Since Disney World was not enough, we took the kids to see Disney Live at the River Center in Baton Rouge in early December. Once again the kids loved it and had a great time.

Disney World 2009

Thanksgiving Week 2009, we took Chloe on her first of what will be many trips to Disney World. I think it was Blaine's 7 or 8th, I really don't remember. No surprise, she LOVED it! There is nothing like seeing your childs face light up when they get to experience the magic of Disney. The trip was also filled with lots of Christmas Cheer as well, because the parks were decorated for the Holidays. We attended Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and got to watch the amazing fireworks and drink all of the "free" hot chocolate and eat all of the "free" sugar cookies that we could. Chloe had a blast dancing with the characters at the dance party, and playing with her $10 balloon (no kidding, we still have that sucker too) The princesses were a big hit, but she wasn't too sure of the costumed characters. Ever since we have been back home she has been asking to go back. We shall see baby girl, we shall see.

MAJOR DAD

In September, 2009 Joe got promoted to Major in the LA National Guard, and the kids and I put together a little reception at the Armory.

Chloe's 3rd Birthday!

Chloe was super excited about her birthday. I don't think she had ever had one before (party I mean) but she had been to a few birthday parties since she had been home, and knew what to expect. Chloe's birthday was on October 20, 2009 and she actually got to celebrate it twice. The first time was a small party at home with just the family, and the second time was a big party with all of our family and friends. Chloe loves cake and will often ask to have it, so she was really excited to have two cakes in one week. Oh, and I think she liked all of the gifts too!

Cousins!

In September, 2009 we made a trip to TX to introduce Chloe to all of her cousins and aunts and uncles. The kids had a great time, and really enjoyed hanging with their cousins. Blaine got sick while we were there and so we had to cut the trip short. He actually had the H1N1 virus, and miraculously, no one else got it. In the picture with all of the cousins it it, well not all, but most, Blaine's eyes are bloodshot and his face is read because he had been crying. He lost his voice and he was scared that he would never get it back. Oh, and they are wet because they got "caught" in the sprinklers. Sure they did. This was before we knew how sick Blaine was. I swear he had been playing all day and hadn't complained once that he felt bad.
