Chloe: Mom! I am going to wear a mango on my shirt for my field trip to the zoo! Me and Emma got mango shirts and Brilee too!
Me: Mango?
Chloe: yeah, you know, that pink bird the mango
Me : Do you mean flamingo?
Chloe: yeah, that's what I meant, flamango.

Chloe to my sister: Nanny, you smell like water.
Lindsay: What does water smell like?
Chloe: Like liquid

Showing me her thumb: Mommy? Is my thlumb English?
Me: What?
Chloe: Is my thlumb English?
Me: No, I think it is Chinese like the rest of you.

Spring 2012

Ha! I did it! Two posts this year! The pictures are in backwards, but at least I'm posting again. Things have been crazy busy around here but we are loving every minute of it. Keeps life interesting ;) Lots of fun things coming up in May and June. I may post about them, but probably not since I am the only one who even checks this blog anymore. Happy Spring!

The kids had another wonderful Christmas. Chloe was very excited this year and enjoyed telling Marshmellow, our elf on the shelf, what she wanted for Christmas nearly everyday.

How about some Easter Pictures?

This year for Easter we went to My Uncle Rod's camp on Irish Bayou, and the kids got to play with their little cousin Rafi. They had a great time fishing and boating and can not wait to go back.

Hello? Anyone there?

Wow, it's been awhile. I really have a lot if pictures and stuff to post, but I am so far behind, I don't think I will ever catch up. I guess that when last we met, it was at the end of last summer. Blah Blah Blah I will just post a current picture and then catch up later. K?

I am Really Bad at this Blogging Stuff!

Chloe has now been with us for a little over a year. Wow! What a difference a year makes! Chloe is the happiest little girl in the world and lives life to the fullest. To celebrate being a family for a year, Blaine's 8th birthday and our 13th wedding anniversary (which are all in the same month) we decided to take a short trip to the Happiest Place on Earth. As you can see, we all had a wonderful time!

Then and Now

On the 28th of this month, Chloe will have been ours for 8 months. Ha ha, I just noticed she is eating a lolly pop both then and now. Some things never change!

SNOW

Shhh! Don't tell Blaine, but it snowed here two weeks ago and he doesn't know. See, Blaine goes to school with my sister about 30min. south and east of her, about 30min from New Orleans, and I made him go to school that day because I really did not think it was going to snow. I mean, I know what the weather man said, but this is South Louisiana and we just had snow in 2008 and 2004. What were the chances? Pretty good obviously. Blaine begged and begged to stay home from school because it was supposed to snow here, and I made him go because he had already missed a day that week due to illness, and I really didn't think it was going to snow. I bundled Chloe up (her school was canceled since the night before because of the chance it could snow) and took pictures of the beautiful white stuff. To this day, Blaine has no idea. The snow was completely gone by the time he got home from school, so I never mentioned it to him. I am a bad mommy, I know ;)

Why is Darth Vader in my son's bed?

Blaine loves him some Star Wars! This is how I found him one morning when I went into his room to wake him up for school. He is wearing a too-small Darth Vader costume. He didn't look like this when I put him to bed, so he obviously got up in the middle of the night to put this on. This isn't the first time he has done this either. I have caught him dressed like a Storm Trooper on more than one morning. Gotta love him, I know I do!

Please don't go!

Chloe is almost as attached to my sister as she is to Joe and I. This is what Chloe does almost everytime my sister leaves our house to go home. Isn't that the saddest sad face you have ever seen?
